Training costs for those aged under 25

The training fee has now been waived for under 25s. This applies to both driver and rider training.

The New Highway Code

Changes to the Highway Code came into effect on 29 January 2022 and a new edition of the Highway Code was published in April 2022 but a survey showed that 20% of motorists were not aware it had changed.

 

The changes relate to:

• The Hierarchy of road users

• People crossing the road at junctions

• Walking, cycling or riding in shared spaces

• Positioning in the road when cycling

• Overtaking when driving or cycling

• People cycling at junctions
